Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup grated lemon zest

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 1 egg

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3/4 cup lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, poppy seeds and mix well. Add baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir well.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the grated lemon zest with white sugar, stirring until combined.
