Ingredients

  • 500 gr 5% Fat Beef Mince

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder

  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour

  • 1 carrot minced

  • 1 small onion chopped

  • 1 scallion chopped

  • 1 garlic clove minced

  • 3 sprigs of thyme

  • 3 tablespoon dark soy sauce

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste

  • 1 ½ tablespoon browning

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup of Hot WATA!

  • 2 tablespoon for frying

  • 1 fried ripe banana

  • smoked cheddar cheese

  • 240 gr gold butter

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon betapac curry powder

  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon sugar

  • 220 ml ice-cold WATA

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 200 C.
  • First, we make the chicken filling. Heat the oil, add minced garlic clove, onion, carrot, scallion, and thyme, saute for 5 minutes or until wilted and give off a fragrant smell. Add dark soy sauce, ketchup, and tomato paste, stirring constantly.
  • Add minced meat and breadcrumbs, season with garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Add browning, Hot WATA, and stir frequently so it doesn’t burn. Cover and let cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
  • Meanwhile, we make the skin. Mix all the dry dough, namely, all-purpose flour, turmeric, betapac curry powder, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir well. Add gold butter and ice-cold WATA !. Stir until combined and the dough sticks into a ball. Store in the freezer for 20-30 minutes until ready to use.
  • Place the dough on a floured table surface. Divide into 2 and launch. Roll until it forms the thickness of the dough you want. Cut the dough into a rectangle into several pieces.
  • Spoon one tablespoon of the filling into each skin, filling with smoked cheddar cheese and fried ripe banana. Cover well and prick with a fork. Do it until all ingredients run out. Brush with egg white on top of the pie. Place each patty carefully on the baking sheet and bake for about 25-30 minutes, depending on the size, or until the edges are golden brown.
