Grapefruit Tequila Mimosa is a fresh, beautiful drink featuring a thick tropical feel. This fresh drink is made from a mixture of chilled Tequila, Lime Freshly Juiced, Agave Syrup, Chilled Prosecco, and Grapefruit Juiced.

This drink is also known as Tequila Sunrise because of the layered effect it displays or Orange Blood Tequila Mimosa because of the color it produces.

A mix of sweet and sour flavors, this cocktail is a modern drink originating from California. This drink can be an alternative to a classy yet informal party. This sweet and sour drink is also very suitable to be served on the occasion of a garden party in the afternoon because it promises a light freshness from the combination of champagne and orange juice.

Ingredients And How To Make Grapefruit Tequila Mimosa:

Tequila: We used the cold one so we didn’t have to add ice cubes and change the taste. You can use any brand of tequila.

Agave Syrup: You can replace it with artificial sweeteners or other natural sweeteners such as honey, agave nectar, simple syrup, or if you don’t have it, just add sugar or refined sugar. But if you use granulated sugar or refined sugar, you need to dissolve it first to make it a liquid.

Lime Freshly Juiced: You can get an instant one at the supermarket. However, if you have lime or lemon at home, squeeze it and get the juice.

Prosecco: We use the cold one so that you don’t have to add ice cubes and change the taste. You can use any brand of Prosecco. Prosecco can easily be found in supermarkets or bars.

Grapefruit Juiced: You can get instant juice at the supermarket. However, if you have a Grapefruit, you can squeeze and extract the juice.

Grapefruit itself is a citrus fruit which is also known as Orange Blood. The size is quite large compared to other citrus fruits, the fruit is also red like blood. This type of orange has a blend of sour and sweet flavors. This fruit is known to have been first created in the 18th century through cross-breeding between grapefruit (pomelo) and ordinary oranges.

To make it, you only need to mix all the ingredients. Pour 2 oz Chilled Tequila, ½ Lime Freshly Juiced, ½ oz Agave Syrup, Chilled Prosecco and Grapefruit Juiced to taste into the cocktail glass. Finally, enhance the appearance with lime and grapefruit slices that you can place on the rim of the glass.
