Eggless Banana Bread Ingredients:

Bananas: Make sure the bananas you use are perfectly ripe. You can refine it first for a softer result.

All-purpose Flour: For those of you who are vegan, you can replace it with wheat flour.

Brown Sugar: This type of sugar is used to make bread denser and moister. You can replace it with plain white sugar.

Baking Powder and Baking Soda: These ingredients are added to make the bread more fluffy when baked later.

Cinnamon: This one ingredient will make the bread more fragrant, of course.

Unsalted Butter: Make sure to melt the butter first, because we use the thin one.

Buttermilk: This ingredient can be said to be a substitute for milk.

Pure Vanilla Extract, Walnuts, and Salt: These three ingredients are optional, you can get rid of them if you don’t want to. Walnuts add to the extra texture and taste, but if you have a nut allergy, you can skip it.

In addition to the ingredients above which are easy to get, how to make them is quite easy and fast. Provided you already know the trick.

First of all, you need to preheat the oven and line the baking sheet with parchment paper to make it easier for you to bake. Then you can start mixing the dry dough and stirring until blended. Start adding the sliced ripe banana with the buttermilk, butter, and vanilla extract. Then shake again using an electric mixer. Pour into a baking sheet, put a toothpick in the center and bake for about 55 minutes to 1 hour. Make sure when you lift it, the toothpick comes out clean.

Eggless Banana Bread is one of the delicious and healthy snacks that you can serve at home. Especially if you are allergic to eggs, it looks like you should try this recipe. The taste is delicious, the texture is moist and dense, and will taste soft when enjoyed.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (about 300 -350 gr or around 1 ½ cups), sliced into about 1 inch

  • 1 ½ cup (210 gr) all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup (200 gr) brown sugar

  • ½ cup (115 gr) unsalted butter, melted

  • ½ cup (120 ml) buttermilk, melted

  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) pure vanilla extract

  • 1½ teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

  • ¾ teaspoon of baking soda

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350º F (175 ° C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a baking sheet with baking spray. Move the oven rack down a little from the center position.
  • In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, brown sugar, melted unsalted butter, buttermilk, pure vanilla extract, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir well. Enter the sliced banana. Then beat with an electric mixer.
  • Pour into the pan and bake for about 55 minutes, or until the toothpicks come out clean. Remove from oven, transfer the pan to a wire rack and let the bread cool completely. Use a serrated knife to slice.

Notes

  • The baking time depends on the humidity and sugar content of the banana you are using, so I recommend starting to check for doneness about 50 minutes and then every 5 minutes thereafter.
  • If you want to keep it longer to stock, you can cut the bread into individual slices first, then wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and keep it at room temperature for up to 5 days. You can also wrap the bread in plastic wrap, then aluminum foil, and freeze it for up to 3 months.

Serve together with Brown Sugar Pudding for the perfect combination.
