Now there is an easy way to enjoy nachos for those who are on a diet or for those of you who are vegetarian, one way is to make it in a healthy version. Something crunchy and salty that goes well with sweeter flavors. They call him Apple Nachos.

This appetizer consists of precise apple slices arranged like nachos on a plate and then topped with a sweet sauce of melted dark or white chocolate, warm caramel sauce, chopped pretzels, and chopped heath sticks. You can also add toppings like peanut chips, mini chocolate chips, or mashed potato chips with peanut butter sauce.

Ingredients Needed And Easy Way To Make Them:

1 medium apple, wash and slice an apple, arrange on a plate
¼ cup granola
1 tablespoon coconut flakes
¼ cup dark chocolate chunks (optional)

Caramel Sauce:

1 tablespoon almond butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon maple syrup
a dash of pumpkin pie spice (optional)

To make a glaze, you can mix 1 tablespoon almond butter with 1 tablespoon coconut oil, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and a dash of pumpkin pie spice if you want. Drizzle on apples. Sprinkle ¼ cup granola and 1 tablespoon coconut flakes over the apple slices. If you want, sprinkle cup dark chocolate chunks too.

Apples do have good taste with just about anything. The key is to have some melted ingredients and something crunchy like Apple Nachos with Caramel Sauce. You can serve it as a party appetizer or dessert or snacks or whenever you want.

  • CARAMEL SAUCE:

Directions

Notes

  • You can add toppings such as granola or toasted oats, roasted peanuts, or goat cheese. For the glaze itself, you can replace it with melted chunks of chocolate or honey.
